Those charged with protecting the United States are not always able to access the evidence needed to prosecute crime and prevent terrorism. In response to this challenge, Peraton is seeking an Application Programmerwith experience in designing and developing technical solutions.
Serve as Development Lead for the R&D team.
Perform code review for accuracy, completeness, and efficiency.
Work with end users to test applications.
Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test plans and methods.
Participate in design sessions.
Evaluate feasibility of new software and hardware technologies, inclusive of COTS, GOTS, FOSS, and other market and technology trends.
BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related degree with six (6) years of relevant experience or have a MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related degree or eight (8) years of relevant experience.
At least three (3) years hands-on experience with Project Management activities, processes, and deliverables.
At least five (5) years hands-on experience with agile software development methodologies.
A current Top Secret security clearance
Experience with TFS; JIRA, Java, C, C++, ASP.NET, C#, Open Source (github, google, apache).
Preferred experience or certifications in: AWS, Azure, or other cloud environments, Network Administration, Network Management, etc.
