Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented All-Source Intelligence: Technical Targeter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical intelligence and analysis to identify, evaluate, and prioritize targets for aviation operations. This role requires a deep understanding of military targeting processes, intelligence analysis, and aviation systems to support the planning and execution of high value missions. The Technical Targeter will work closely with other intelligence and operational teams to ensure successful mission outcomes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Examples of duties include but not limited to:
- Conduct in-depth technical analysis of potential targets, utilizing a variety of intelligence sources (e.g., SIGINT, HUMINT, GEOINT) to identify, assess, and prioritize targets based on mission requirements and strategic objectives.
- Analyze technical data, such as electronic signals, communications, imagery, and other intelligence sources, to derive actionable intelligence for targeting purposes. This includes determining target vulnerabilities, strengths, and potential countermeasures.
- Collaborate with aviation teams and mission planners to integrate targeting intelligence into operational flight plans, ensuring all relevant intelligence is available for successful mission execution.
- Work closely with intelligence analysts, including SIGINT, GEOINT, and IMINT specialists, to ensure the technical accuracy and relevancy of targeting data. Provide guidance on how best to exploit available intelligence to refine targets.
- Develop and deliver detailed intelligence reports, briefings, and target packages that support mission planning, execution, and post-mission analysis. Ensure that all documentation complies with government standards and security protocols.
- Operate advanced targeting systems and analytical tools to support the technical evaluation of targets. Ensure these systems are fully optimized and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.
- Liaise with aircrews and other stakeholders to provide updated targeting intelligence in real-time during mission execution, ensuring the successful engagement of identified targets.
- Support post-mission assessments by analyzing the effectiveness of targeting, assessing damage or mission outcomes, and recommending improvements or adjustments for future missions.

Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in targeting analysis, intelligence operations, or a similar technical role.
- Proficiency in targeting and intelligence analysis tools, including SIGINT, GEOINT, IMINT, and targeting software.
- Knowledge of aviation-related payload operations and implementation.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions under pressure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) operations.
- Relevant certifications in targeting, intelligence analysis, or military operations are a plus.
- Familiarity with military operations and protocols.
Experience and Education:
- Prior customer experience
- TS/SCI with POLY
- 8 years in All-Source Intelligence Technical Targeting
- BS 10-12, MS 8-10, Phd 5-7 or 12 years’ experience in lieu of degree
Target Salary Range
$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
