Program Overview

Performs important mission in the DOD and that is deterrence of weapons of mass destruction, nuclear weapons, etc. Systems Engineers/Admins, DBA's, Release Engingeers, Data Scientists, Cyber Defense, and Service Desk collaborate together to ensure comprehensive mission success

About The Role

Peraton is hiring a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst for USSTRATCOM/J6, Offutt AFB, Nebraska.

What you will do:

Utilize project data to create business intelligence reports (e.g., financial, programmatic, project status) used for strategic management of portfolio of projects.
Leverage Power BI, Excel and other business intelligence tools to transform data into decision quality information.
Collect, reviews and reports metrics for operational performance of USSTRATCOM IT infrastructure including system and network availability.
Interface with IT operations team members and managers to ensure accurate reporting and tracking of scheduled and unscheduled outages of IT infrastructure.
Produce reports and dashboards for government consumption and oversight of IT operational performance metrics via CDRL deliverables.
Maintain historical archive of operational performance metrics for the life of the contract.
Collect, maintain, and distribute documents necessary to define product configuration and control technical processes that ensure conformance to customer requirements.
Maintain a comprehensive database for all documents to be retained in the Process Asset Library (PAL).
Ensure timely distribution of current documentation to appropriate users and ensure that obsolete documentation is removed from distribution.
Determine and establish ITCC II and USSTRATCOM system/service performance measures with the following organizational goals:

Define key performance indicators (KPIs)
Collaborate with ITCC II Lines of Service (LoS) leads for producing metrics reports
Track and provide status reports on performance measures for PWS, SLAs and Award Term to ensure that all targets are met
Notify appropriate levels of management when PWS, SLA and Award Term targets are at risk of not being met
Provide metrics input to monthly CDRL reporting

Skills: Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate Excel and Word, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI software

Qualifications

What you will need:

2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with no degree
TS/SCI security clearance
Experience identifying, collecting, and presenting metrics for data-based decision processes

Details

Target Salary Range: $80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
