Cloud Systems Administrator
Location: Onsite in Kansas City, Missouri; Quantico MCB, Virginia or Camp Lejuene, NC
Overview:
We are seeking a Cloud System Administrator to:
- Support US Marine Corps (USMC) enterprise-level hybrid cloud data center engineering, operations and cybersecurity requirements
- Enable USMC world-wide customers to execute critical missions
What you will do:
As a Cloud System Administrator, you will support the Access Management program for the USMC enterprise data center specifically focused on enabling processes, procedures and executing cloud-systems access management capabilities. Access Management is the centerpiece of the hybrid-cloud enterprise datacenter security program and your responsibilities ensure successful and secure operations of a multi-cloud on-prem and cloud-hosted enterprise capability supporting worldwide USMC customers.
Your responsibilities will include
- Provides Cloud System administration (Microsoft Azure) in support of USMC Enterprise Cloud hosting environment.
- Supports USMC Cloud Access Management capabilities focusing on AWS and Azure systems access management capabilities in the hybrid cloud environment. Establishes and executes RBAC models and assists government lead in establishing processes and procedures for cloud systems access management.
- Responsible for the creation, deployment and sustainment of Identity and Access Management architectures, tools and processes enabling RBAC for all multi-site Data Center devices, applications, services and systems.
- Responsible for the definition and capture of a comprehensive multi-tiered RBAC model, implementation plan and continual audit and sustainment processes.
- Works with peer processes and technology SMEs in the assessment, creation and management of technical and ITSM templates and workflows necessary to enact and automate IdAM (Identity and Access Management) within the Data Center.
- Processes SAARs and enables all roles within all hybrid cloud systems environments.
- Supporting on-call requirements in rotation with other members of the access management team.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Required
- BS 8-10 Years, MS 6-8, PhD 3+ Will consider HS with 12+ years of experience.
- Strong Microsoft Active Directory management skills
- Experience administering an application hosted on Azure or managing an Azure subscription
- Understanding of basic secure access management/account management concepts (using Active Directory—creating, modifying, deleting accounts) – Role Based Access Control
- Significant skill and experience in provisioning cloud access privilege accounts
- Experience developing processes and procedures for access management
- Significant skill and experience in provisioning cloud systems with priority on Microsoft Azure environment
- Experience developing processes and procedures for access management including privileged account management
- Skill and experience in managing RBAC for access within Microsoft Activity Directory including Domain Admin, Privileged Admins, Authorized Users, Service Accounts including incorporation of CAC/Token-based capabilities
- Skill and experience in using monitoring and management tools to effect access management and account monitoring and management
- Knowledge or experience in using scripting (PowerShell) to automate simple processes
- Attention to detail with proven ability to proof, edit, and process documentation with limited errors
- Experience in managing account and accessing Windows and Linux Servers and management and monitoring systems
- General knowledge pertaining to multiple technical disciplines (Hardware, Networking, Storage, OS, Virtualization, etc.), Windows and Linux System Administration, BMC Remedy ITSM queue operations, experience with the configuration of data center monitoring and management solutions, intermediate knowledge of datacenter virtualization systems
- Fundamental understanding of ITIL Processes, ITIL Training required (certification desired)
- IAT II Certification
- ITIL Training or certification required within 30 days of start
- Active DOD Clearance Secret
Preferred
- Microsoft Azure experience (certification desired) managing/administering an subscription, tenant or application or AWS certification desired
- Cloud Fundamentals Certification desired (Azure or AWS preferred)

Target Salary Range
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
