Program Overview
Peraton provides a secure, worldwide, high-performance communications network comprised of real-time interactive applications operating over a dedicated IP backbone with secure services for complex national and worldwide executive-level communications. About The Role

Join Peraton as a Configuration Management Analyst in Alexandria, VA!

 

Peraton is seeking a dedicated Configuration Management Analyst to support our dynamic team, ensuring smooth operations and seamless configuration of critical network, video, and phone services used on government networks. As a key member of the program team, you’ll play a crucial role in the installation, configuration, optimization, and testing of these services—working closely with various engineering teams and the program manager to drive success.

 

Key Responsibilities:

As a Configuration Management Analyst, your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Overseeing all activities related to receiving, storing, inspecting, issuing, and managing maintenance spares—ensuring accurate documentation for all assets.
  • Proactively conducting inventory checks and analyzing supply reports to guarantee optimal levels of spare parts at the depot maintenance location.
  • Maintaining 100% control over assigned assets and ensuring routine inventory is managed effectively.
  • Acting as the Vehicle Control Officer to ensure vehicle availability and functionality.
  • Utilizing configuration management tools to track and control configuration data, ensuring audits are conducted accurately.
  • Assisting the program manager with daily tasks such as scheduling meetings, processing purchase requests, arranging travel, and supporting program events and site security.
  • Managing SharePoint and network share document libraries, organizing program documentation, processes, and procedures for streamlined communication.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or a comparable mix of education, training, and experience.
  • Security Clearance: Current Secret clearance with eligibility to obtain a Top-Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and, occasionally, assist with heavier items as part of a team lift. Personal protective equipment will be provided.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting Government and/or Department of Defense customers.
  • Familiarity with purchasing and travel systems.
  • Previous exposure to configuration management systems is a plus.

Details

Target Salary Range: $66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
