Responsibilities

The Customer Engagement Specialist will support the Defense Industrial Base Vulnerability Disclosure Program (DIB-VDP) which is part of the Department of Defense Cyber Crime Center (DC3). A successful candidate will collaborate across various stakeholders including US Government (USG) agencies, the DIB Cybersecurity (CS) Program Management Office, and external stakeholders to ensure the success of the DIB-VDP program. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating communication strategies and outreach campaigns that accurately represent the DIB-VDP program.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

 

· BS 8+, MS 6+, PhD 3+ (additional experience may be used in lieu of a degree)

· At least 2 years of project management experience

· Active Secret clearance

· Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all organizational levels, customers, and stakeholders

· Capability to collaborate across different enterprises or teams with various stakeholders

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Working knowledge of IT technology, vendors, and products

· Ability to display data and metrics in a clear and understandable way

· Proactive approach in seeking innovative advertising methods for services, in close collaboration with government and contract leadership

· Ability to contribute to and direct social media outreach efforts

· Responsibilities include scheduling and coordinating various events and outreach activities

· Initiative to independently, or as part of a team, plan, execute, and report on tasks

· Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, such as Salesforce

· Ability to travel up to 10% (domestic travel)

 

Desired Qualifications:

 

· Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

· Familiarity with the Defense Industrial Base sector

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
