Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a skilled Cyber Architect to join our growing team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding the design and implementation of secure solutions and services across our business and IT support areas. Driving the successful configuration and implementation of security solutions to reduce risk to an acceptable level. The individual will also be responsible for providing input to Security Authorization process activities and related documentation (e.g., system life- cycle support plans, concepts of operations, operational procedures and maintenance of training materials). Validates accuracy and applicability of technical solutions to incorporate environmental conditions with business needs.

 

Responsible for developing and implementing proper architecture and engineering safeguards around consumer data. The architect is expected to have a deep knowledge of a broad range of information and physical security controls to protect data stores (potentially including the data, the data applications or stored functions, the data systems, the data servers, and the associated network links) against compromises of their Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability. Performs requirements analysis and developing strategies and solutions for cyber security, risk, and information governance. Help identify and evaluate gaps and potential areas of security exposure

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen capable of obtaining and maintaining a Public Trust security clearance.
  • Must have a Bachelors Degree and 10-12 years’ experience, a Masters and 8-10, or a PhD and 5-7
  • Must have 2 years of leadership experience
  • Must have (1) of the following certifications:
    • CompTIA Net+
    • CompTIA A+
    • CompTIA Security +
    • CPTE - Certified Penetration Testing Engineer or CEH - Certified Ethical Hacker
    • CISSP, CISSP-ISSEP, CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSMP preferred
    • CISA - Certified Information Systems Auditor

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelors Degree in the related field of employment
  • Expert knowledge in Enterprise Architecture and Defense-In-Depth principles
  • Ability to drive standardization of architectures for future use

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
