Responsibilities

The NiFi project is looking for a Systems Engineer to assist the project with modernizing corporate data flows, Systems Engineering activities for agency T&D (transfer and decommission) efforts and other SE responsibilities with respect to managing requirements with NiFi for data flow on TTO 13. The Systems Engineering team is the focal point, creating and managing the Requirements and details that ultimately make up the solutions the NiFi operations implements. In most cases this requires interfacing with our Operations team, developers, and other projects. The SE candidate will also assists in evaluating and documenting existing DataFlow designs in operations as well as Systems Architectural Diagrams.

 

Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with current polygraph required
  • Experience with our customer's Mission Systems
  • Experience performing Transfer & Decommission efforts of legacy to new systems
  • Experience working with mission data formats
  • Experienced with reviewing and processing, or creating Dataflow Management Requests, DMRs.
  • Experience with Apache NiFi functionality and building DataFlows
  • Understand analytical needs and requirements
  • Ability to create Systems Architectural Diagrams depicting software and system functions.
  • Twenty (20) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree

Target Salary Range

$190,000 - $304,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
