The Deputy Program Manager – Business Operations will be responsible for the successful management and execution of this 250+ FTE cyber security, business operations, IT and analytical contract’s program management office and external partner engagement. The successful candidate will excel in communications, collaboration, and coordination across a large, complex inter-disciplinary team of SMEs and an expert in providing clear, concise interactions with the government senior leadership team. This position requires critical attention to detail and the ability to operate in a fast, paced operational and leadership environment.
The Deputy Program Manager will support the Program Manager in providing overall management and oversight of all activities performed by personnel, including subcontractors, to satisfy the requirements identified in the Task Order (TO). The Deputy Program Manager will lead the team responsible for the business operations functions that include deliverables management, resource management, logistics / procurement, and integrated schedule management.
Additionally, the Deputy Program Manager will also serve as a Task Lead for the external partners. Responsibilities include interviewing, selection and hiring; training new and existing employees; planning, assigning and directing work; addressing employee performance and corrective action plans; employee motivation and rewards.
