Responsibilities

Peraton is hiring a Project Security Coordinator, this role will be located in Honolulu, HI.

 

This person will support USINDOPACOM J8 by providing coordination and execution support for International Science & Technology (S&T) Engagement initiatives, to include Joint International Experimentation (JIE), and other innovation/S&T workshops and engagements. In addition, the Project Security Coordinator will perform multiple program security functions to include Personnel Security, Information Security, Industrial Security, Information System Security, Communications Security and Physical Security for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with validating International S&T engagement policies, plans, and messaging to facilitate enhancing multilateral cooperation
  • Assist with organizing and supporting various types of events including technology demonstrations, assessments, and joint international experimentation
  • Assist in the processing of visitor access and ensuring person-to-person communication and coordination occurs under applicable guidelines/regulations
  • Coordinate the processing of on-boarding personnel
  • Manage communications among stakeholders at multiple classification levels and via various mediums (i.e., SVTC, VOIP)
  • Develop and disseminate S&T project schedules
Qualifications

What you'll need:

 

  • Education:  5 years with BS/BA, 3 years with MS/MA, 0 years with PhD
  • Clearance:  Active TS/SCI required
  • At least three (3) years of experience in a related field (security, management of classified programs, intelligence) supporting DoD programs.
  • Experience with in-depth level of knowledge around DOD manuals, instructions, regulations, guidelines, and ICDs pertaining to national security programs (i.e., DoD 5105.21 V1-3, SECNAVINST 5510.30/36, ICD 704, and ICD 705)
  • Experience and knowledge of Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) standards
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in order to provide information, training, and operational support to the Division
  • Must demonstrate the ability to work independently or under only general direction
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

Desired:

  • Master's degree and at least six (6) years of experience supporting the Department of Defense (DoD), including at least four (4) years of experience in military operations 
  • Knowledge of the Indo-Asia-Pacific region
  • Experience in operational and/or strategic levels of DoD planning and/or execution
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient at authoring analytical and/or policy documents

Target Salary Range

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
