Responsibilities

We are seeking a Network Engineer to support a global network providing transport and enterprise services to our U.S. Navy Customer.  Work onsite at our office in Arlington, VA.  Flexible work hours within our operating hours can be discussed.  Let us know how you can contribute to our team of technically divverse network engineers.  

 

Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Top Secret

 

What will you do: 

  • Working in a team environment and will be responsible for designing and maintaining network configurations and diagrams, implementing new technologies, and troubleshooting network related incidents.
  • Gain exposure to a variety of technologies including enterprise radio, microwave back-hauls and wireless access points.
  • Draft site designs based off of predeveloped architectures.
  • Troubleshoot network outages.
Qualifications

What you'll need:

 

Required:

  • Bachelors degree and 8-10 years of experience required or Associates and 10 years. In lieu of degree, HS & 12 years experience required.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active DoD  Top Secret clearance
  • 2+ years of experience working in large LAN/WAN environments supporting a DoD network
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Juniper or Cisco network equipment.
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting network technologies and protocols such as OSPF, TCP/IP, network cabling and CLI.

Required Certification(s):

  • One or more of the following: CCNA, JNCIA, or other network related certifications
  • One or more of the following: Security+, CASP, CCNA Security, other DoD 8570 approved certifications (a 90 period to obtain a certfification upon hiring can be granted).

Desired Experience:

  • CCNA/CCNP Certification or JNCIS-SP
  • Experience with network management tools

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
