Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking an experienced, highly organized Operations Research Analyst (all source) (ORA-AS) – targeting specialist. The candidate will support a Combatant Command, Directorate of Operations, Interagency Action Group capability and DoD mission partners to coordinate, synchronize and integrate the DoD Rewards Program into subcomponent and interagency efforts in the Area of Responsibility. The Candidate will be part of a team focused on collaborating closely with organic subcomponent and interagency intelligence staffs. The incumbent will be the subject matter expert on verifying received information with other data sources, able to illuminate and exploit information received by the program in cooperation with intelligence staffs at all levels related to counterterrorism and force protection matters.
This position is located in Tampa, FL (MacDill AFB)
As our SME Targeting Analyst you will have the opportunity to:
- Expertly handle mission requirements and refine information through multi-source intelligence assets to assess accuracy and develop actionable reporting to subcomponents.
- Integrate into local intelligence staffs to process raw reporting from the AOR to support DoDRP-confirmed intelligence products and provide recommendations to the command and its subcomponents.
- Be responsible for characterization of received information and triaging for staff action.
- Apply network development methodologies to perform nodal analysis.
- Perform knowledge management duties, receive and process requests for support and requests for information, liaise with identified subcomponent representatives and provide updates on the staffing and status of DoDRP-received serialized information.
- Advise linguists, coordinate with marketing and production teams, and report to the project manager for contractual deliverables.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA, minimum of 6 years with MS/MA.
- May consider an additional six years of military service-based training experience or Associates degree and four years of military service-based training experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
- Familiarity with staffing procedures, targeting TTPs as well as the US CENTRAL COMMAND historic, current, and emerging threats.
- Experience in target development and validation process and applying a collection management strategy against designated targets.
- Ability to proactively identify and assess risks and opportunities. Experience operating in tactical, operational, strategic environments as well as multi-national and Interagency Partner environments as a staff member with minimum guidance with background in the following:
- Deep understanding of classification guidelines and handling procedures
- Demonstrated ability to perform all source operational intelligence analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver individually sourced unclassified and classified products.
- Demonstrated understanding geographic combatant command structures, functions, and requirements.
- Good oral and written communications skills, including an expert ability to communicate effectively with intelligence, interagency and foreign national teammates.
- Expert Microsoft Office Skills.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current US Passport.
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

- Familiar with psychological operations and irregular warfare.
- Experience in special operations.
- Experience working with remote teammates and superiors.

Target Salary Range
$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
