Procurement Analyst

Peraton is seeking skilled and qualified candidates for our Procurement Analyst position on the US Senate program to join our team. In this position the Procurement Analyst will be responsible for the following: 

• Receive, validate and complete funded purchase orders using an extensive validation process requiring analytic skills and technical knowledge.
• Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment necessary to fulfill requirements with the SLA of each purchase order.
  Maintain day to day supplier relations regarding orders processed, item availability, quote requests, replacement requirements and other related needs.
• Receive, review and process RFQs, analyzing for specification compliance, evaluate best path forward through cost analysis and delivery requirements.
• Compile, review and distribute daily, weekly, monthly and/or quarterly reports.
• Ability to research and locate information needed in emergency or high-level acquisition needs and respond accordingly.
• Exquisite attention to detail, sound multi-tasking skills navigating multiple programs simultaneously and professional communication skills is a must.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years experience, Associate's degree with 7+ years experience or high school diploma/GED with 9+ years experience.
• US Citizenship required; must be able to obtain and retain a US Senate clearance
• Proficient ability to navigate Outlook and locate information quickly to resolve inquiries and issues as they arise.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong experience with programs such as; Microsoft Office Suite, Asset Manager, Service Now and SharePoint desired
• IT Technical knowledge and analytical skills strongly desired.
