Peraton Space Technology Services (STS) is the prime contractor on the Environmental Test and Integration Services III (ETIS III) contract at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC).  We support the GSFC Engineering and Technology Directorate’s Mechanical Systems Division in Greenbelt, Maryland. We provide facility operations and maintenance as well as integration and testing to support spaceflight hardware development. 

 

The GSFC Environmental Test and Integration Facilities ensure spacecraft and flight experiments will withstand the rigors of launch and will operate properly in the space environment. In addition to operations, these technical facilities have on-going goals of advancing the state-of-the-art in the development of improved space flight systems. The GSFC Environmental Test and Integration Facilities are one of the most complete and comprehensive space hardware test complexes within the United States Government.

 

Join our dynamic and diverse Peraton Technology Services Team on site, at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC), as our ETIS Program Manager.  You will be a key leader on our Environmental Test and Integration Services (ETIS) contract as part of the team. You have the unique opportunity to be engaged in multiple exciting space projects in the GSFC state-of-the-art facilities. 

 

The ETIS Program Manager will:

 

  • Manage and direct the overall effort on all tasks to meet the safety, technical, cost, schedule and quality requirements of the contract.  
  • Serve as primary point of contact for interface with the Engineering Technology Directorate (ETD), and the Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative and Contracting Officer, for fulfillment of contract terms and conditions. This encompasses program management including project management, cost management and control, business management, personnel management, continual process improvement, and functional support.
  • Develop necessary management systems to assure the timeliness and accuracy of technical, cost, and schedule information provided to government.
  • Manage contract for all contractual matters including hiring, discipline, personnel performance and compensation; regular and emergency subcontracting procurements; policies and procedures; negotiating collective bargaining agreements with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) and resolving grievances.
  • Provides leadership and direction through team of managers and functional leads.

 

 

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 

 

  • B.S. degree in Aerospace, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or related technical field is required
  • Minimum of 20 years’ directly related experience in an aerospace hardware test and integration environment in positions requiring management and technical direction skills. Ten years of this experience must have been managing contracts of comparable size and workforce.

Desired Qualifications:

  • M.S. degree in engineering management or related field is preferred

Must be a US Citizen. Must be able to obtain a NASA badge. Must be able to pass the background check and drug screening

Target Salary Range

$176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
