Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a Remote SharePoint M365 Administrator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position can be worked remotely and will be responsible for the administration, management, and support of the organization's Microsoft 365 (M365) hybrid environment. This role involves ensuring the seamless integration of on-premises and cloud-based M365 services, maintaining system availability, performance, and security, and providing support to end-users. Works closely with IT teams, end-users, and stakeholders to deliver a secure, efficient, and user-friendly hybrid M365 environment. The M365 Systems Administrator, will design, implement, monitor, and maintain the enterprise M365 environment. This includes Azure AD, Exchange Online, OneDrive, InTune, Teams, SharePoint Online. Additionally supporting and working with server administration and application administration team on troubleshooting and deployment tasks.
Day to Day Work Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage M365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and other M365 applications.
- Monitor M365 health, performance, and logs to ensure smooth operation and compliance.
- Code pages using HTML5, JavaScript, and Typescript, jQuery, CSS, SQL, Bootstrap or responsive design for all devices
- Creating and configuring SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, workflows, and web parts.
- Developing custom forms and templates using InfoPath and SharePoint Designer.
- Integrating SharePoint with other business applications, such as CRM or ERP systems.
- Installing the SharePoint platform, integrating applications, and creating libraries.
- Adding users, controlling access to document libraries, and setting permissions.
- Performing maintenance of the SharePoint platform, servers, and intranet.
- Providing technical support for SharePoint users.
- Developing and implementing SharePoint security and access controls.
- Monitoring SharePoint performance and troubleshooting issues.
- Performing data retrieval and backup procedures to prevent data loss.
- Ensuring sufficient storage space by performing clean-ups and archiving data.
- Reviewing usage and activity reports and making adjustments to ensure optimized user-experiences.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to M365 services and integration.
- Configure and maintain mailboxes, including email forwarding, shared mailboxes, and email security settings to ensure secure and efficient email communication.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; minimum of 12 years with High School Diploma/equivalent
- U.S. Citizenship required; active Secret clearance (or higher) required
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a SharePoint developer/administrator role in a Tier 3/Tier 4 environment using SharePoint online/O365 and SharePoint on Premise 2013/2016
- Experience managing hybrid environments that integrate on-premises and cloud-based services
- Experience developing and implementing SharePoint security and access controls.
- Experience with Azure AD Connect, Exchange Hybrid Configuration, and hybrid mail flow
- Experience monitoring SharePoint performance and troubleshooting issues
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or similar
- CompTIA Security+ certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- ITILv4 Foundations certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of PowerApps and Power Automate
- Experience working with modern API Platforms such as REST, SOAP JSO & XML
- An understanding of cloud platforms and services, ideally Azure & Office 365
- Ability to be flexible, resourceful, organized and work in a fast-paced business environment with special requests
- Basic knowledge and understanding of SDLC process, performing unit testing, and packing to deploy from DEV to PROD
- Strong knowledge of the .Net framework (C#), IIS, Azure Active Directory and SharePoint site configuration
- Strong project management skills
- Must have expertise building and/or maintaining collaboration sites and/or programs
- Excellent knowledge around UI/UX
Target Salary Range
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
