Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a Senior Mobility Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The ideal candidate will become part of Peraton’s United States Coast Guard (USCG) Infrastructure Managed Services (IMS) Program. This program is an enterprise delivery service consisting of several consolidated task orders and is executed to bring innovation and modernization to the USCG enterprise IT environment, within a managed service business model. The USCG enterprise encompasses an extensive range of IT services and has unique solution challenges to meet their mission needs.
Day to Day Work Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of Microsoft Endpoint management/Intune solutions.
- Lead design sessions for Mobile applications, planning for both business and technical requirements and assist with product roadmap development.
- Implement system security requirements defined under Information Security standards.
- Work on projects that include multi-tier application review, onboarding, and maintenance.
- Develop and execute test plans to check infrastructure and system performance.
- Maintain SME level knowledge on various mobile and desktop products.
- Work with application vendors regarding application compatibility for upgrades and migration projects, including being a liaison between vendors and IT staff.
- Schedule upgrades and migrations with users, maintain change management data, complete the upgrades in deployment system, facilitate and track feedback from the users - post rollout.
- Create end user documentation and training material for IT Staff.
- Incident & service management; logging of requests, support calls and escalating where appropriate into the Service Management tool.
- Share a rotation / on-call nights and weekend support.
- Understand and comply with Change Management processes for client environments

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelores degree and 12 years of experience or a Masters degree and 10 years of experience or a High School diploma and 16 years of experience.
- Must be a US Citizen with an active Secret Clearance
- Demonstrated experience in mobile device management & administration.
- Experience.in Windows Server administration.
- Proficient in Apple Mobile Operating Systems (iPad / iPhone)
- Experience with Mobile Application Vetting (MAV) and Kyryptowire mobile application scanning.
- Experience in working within a Scaled Agile Framework
- Proficient in the installation of the following types of Certificates:
- Apple Push Notification (APN)
- Apple VPP Token for InTune
- DoD Root / Intermediate certificates
- Must have a Security + Certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expert level troubleshooting skills, able to quickly identify client issues, and be able to conduct in-depth diagnostics on Microsoft Intune products and services.
- Experience with troubleshooting and configuring device connectivity.
- Strong understanding of generally accepted system administration methodologies, tools, and techniques, and desire to instill these practices in both individual and teammates’ work.
- Knowledge in MAM (Mobile Application Management), Apple Business Manager (ABM), VPP / DEP, and Android Zero Touch.
- Active Directory concepts such as Kerberos, LDAP, Certificates and Security Groups.
- Understanding of networking, firewalls, and common datacenter infrastructure.
- Understanding of Industry best practices for mobile security and separation of corporate and personal priorities.
- Good written documentation skills and demonstrable experience of documenting systems and procedures.
- Passion for providing outstanding support for inbound incident tickets, as well as foresight to assess risk and scale.
- Ability to maintain skillset up to date as the product evolves continually.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including an ability to interact with users of varying technical skill levels.
- Strong project management skill with some experience leading projects.
- Ability to work independently and without the need for supervision, as well as collaboratively within the team and across various IT groups and business units.
- Knowledge of Cloud Identity (Azure Active Directory, AAD Sync, Role-based access control).
- Knowledge of Certificate and Certificate Chain Authority.
- Knowledge of SQL queries and ability to create ad-hoc custom reports.
- Power BI experience is a plus.
- Azure Administrator Associate desired but not required
Target Salary Range
$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
