Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a highly qualified Sr. Security Lead in support to the upcoming LONG-RANGE ENTERPRISE INTELLIGENCE, SURVEILLANCE, AND RECONNAISSANCE ACTIVITY (LEIA) in Honolulu, HI, supporting a DoD customer.  As part of a highly talented, motivated, and high-performing team, you will support an exciting, fast-paced program with regional and global importance.  Join us and be part of the next generation of innovators as we blaze a trail forward for our Nation, industry and company.

 

Peraton will deliver a broad spectrum of Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Cyber Defense, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C6ISR) capabilities to support SOCPAC missions and it’s AORs. Capabilities include using air, maritime, ground, and space-based platforms to meet mission needs in an ever-changing threat and technology landscape. Our team will provide support to continuously evolve and leverage the latest technologies and best practices to rapidly refresh capabilities and ensure platforms and intelligence operations are optimized to support the SOCPAC missions.

 

Responsibilities

  • Closely collaborate with PM, DPM and Program Operations Lead to plan, design, and execute Program Security focused programs and processes in support of DoD needs within the assigned region. Reports to the Program Operations Lead.
  • Advises the PM, DPM and Program Operations Lead on Security engagement, execution, and reporting.
  • Plans, leads, and manages Program security policies, processes, and procedures in support of compartmented, SSO, and FSO requirements.
  • Applies security principles, practices, and procedures to maintain compliance with DoD customer information, personnel, and physical security regulations and policies.
  • Plans, develops, and leads administration and coordination of Program security programs to comply with DoD and Customer security policies and procedures.
  • Provides guidance and support to staff members concerning all security administrative functions such as personnel security, information and system security, COMSEC, physical security to comply with standards.
  • Provides administrative security support associated with the receipt, distribution, inventory, reproduction, and disposition of classified material.
  • Reviews applications for security clearances and clearance renewals.
  • May act as Top Secret Control Officer (TSCO) for projects.
  • Administers and maintains physical security procedures for visitor control, employee identification and safeguard of company facilities, equipment, materials and employee property.
  • Develops and conducts security briefings and security education programs.
  • Provides oversight for programs for the protection of classified information as well as proprietary information.
  • Supervises preparation, transmittal, and receipt of visitor certifications.
  • Investigates losses and security violations and recommends corrective actions.
  • Manages the continuing eligibility program for personnel using e-QIP, Defense Information System for Security (DISS), and Scattered Castles.
  • Periodically inspects contractor facility locations to verify physical security measures.
  • Develops, reviews, and recommends disposition of standing operating procedures and continual improvement initiatives.
  • Develops, coordinates, facilitates reviews of, and submits program deliverables
  • Trains and mentors junior members of the security team in security practices and Customer policies.
Qualifications

Required:

  • 10+ years of experience with personnel security, information, and system security, COMSEC, physical security to ensure compliance with all security standards
  • 5+ years of experience in a Security leadership role (FSO, SSO, ISSO) supporting a large-scale DoD contract
  • Clearance: Active TS/SCI eligible clearance 
  • Certifications: Industrial Security Professional (ISP) – NCMS (C.5.1)

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
