At Peraton Labs, we are looking for candidates with a strong background in software development and networking for full-time positions in our network system group. Candidates will work with teams to research, conceive, and develop prototypes as well as operational software. The candidates should be adept at identifying successful approaches to complex problems. Projects will involve a mix of research and development and will range from applied research to advanced prototyping to development, verification, and certification of operational software. This position will be full-time at a customer facility. The ideal candidate will be one who is able to collaborate as part of a dynamic customer, Peraton Labs, and subcontractor team as well as execute work independently.
This position is an integral member of the Peraton Labs Network Systems team supporting a customer site location. The individual must be capable of interfacing with the customer as well as monitoring and directing subcontractor tasking. This position requires full time on-site work in College Park, Maryland or Laurel, Maryland.
Six (6) years of experience in application prototype development and a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or a related discipline, or a Master's Degree with four (4) years experience, or a Ph.D with two (2) years experience. In lieu of a Bachelors’ degree an additional four (4) years experience is required for a total of 10 years.
