Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to manage our technical and business experts providing key operational and mission support to a SI/SETA mission for a customer in Northern Virginia.

 

“In this role, you will serve as a Contract Task Order Program Manager, Responsible for monthly contract deliverables, financial reports, and technical status reports, corporate deliverables and status reports, and for all elements of personnel management for Task Order Personnel, to include management of subcontractors on the Task Order. You will also be primarily responsible for client relationship management and teammate relationship management and will work together closely with IDIQ PM and other TO PMs.”

 

Our unique team of technical and business disciplines provide operational support for Systems Engineering and Integration, Mission Planning, and Business Operations to multiple functional mission areas. The team is responsible for the technical design, operations, and mission planning and business operations for the full life cycle of customer specific operations (from concept through development and installation/O&M).

 

The Senior Technical Program Manager will be responsible for the following but not limited to:

  • Responsible for the successful technical, schedule, and cost performance of a major program, or multiple programs, through subordinate program/project managers, in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Acquires follow-on business associated with areas of responsibility and supports new business development by leading major proposals personally, or through subordinate program/project managers.
  • Manages a directorate within a division.
  • Has supervisory and developmental responsibilities within a functional area.
  • The program director manages one or more projects or programs, may manage an operating office, and supervises professional and technical personnel performing in their customary disciplines.
  • Maintains aggressive efforts to achieve objectives. Acts as a technical liaison with vendors.
  • Assists in proposal process and coordinates with Pricing Department when required.
  • Responsible for all phases of the program budget.
  • Performs analysis for contract reviews with various software.
  • Develops Quality Assurance Programs for all products and services.
  • Assign staff and provide technical direction as necessary to complete task.
  • Monitor contract, subcontract, and funding; prepare forecasts of program financial performance.
  • Develop and deliver required contract, departmental, project and/or financial reports.

**This role requires 100% On-site support M-F** Minimal travel (<10%) is expected, and will be directed by the customer **

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Active/Current TS/SCI w/Polygraph.
  • Bachelor’s degree technical field and 12 of relevant supervisory or management experience.
  • Expert knowledge of the PACOM AOR and INDOPACOM AOR.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience coordinating, drafting, and providing responses to Action Items
  • Experience developing and implementing group wide strategies
  • Experience developing executive level briefing packages
  • Experience developing executive level talking points
  • Experience developing and implementing communications plans and strategies
  • Experience analyzing budgets and providing substantive reports and recommendations to customers
  • Demonstrated track record of effectively staffing, leading, and developing a multi-functional team
  • Demonstrated track record of identifying opportunities and growing the business
  • Motivated self-starter who excels in a dynamic environment

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience; PhD and seven (7) years of relevant experience.
  • Previous financial management experience (to include leading ECPs)
  • Previous Subcontract / Contract management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly ramp up to support the customer’s needs, clearly communicate (orally & written) ideas, and work autonomously
  • Previous Management experience

Salary Range Estimates:

 

The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Peraton provides a variety of benefits to employees.

Target Salary Range

$176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
