Responsibilities

Peraton has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Network Service Owner Lead for network infrastructure management services, providing contractor management, direction, administration, and leadership of the execution of his/her respective site’s requirements for the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) in support of United States (U.S.) Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). The Network Service Owner Lead will be responsible for assigning tasks to contractor personnel, supervising ongoing SITEC 3 EOM technical efforts, coordinating with the USSOCOM TPOC, and managing data systems and servers’ performance.


The Network Service Owner Lead must be self-motivated and will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to communicate clearly, both written and orally. The Network Service Owner Lead must have good management and communication skills to interact and coordinate effectively with both internal and external executive leadership teams.

 

The Network Service Owner Lead provides a full spectrum of network infrastructure management services, including implementation, technology integration, guidance for both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and assisting the Government to develop and document network infrastructure policies and procedures. He/she will manage and respond to Government issues, concerns, and comments; and proactively alert the Government to performance issues. The Network Service Owner Lead will be the main interface between the USSOCOM end customers, the SITEC 3 EOM contractor, component Deputy Program Managers, and the component J6 management staff and provide input into the management activities within his/her functional area. The Network Service Owner Lead will manage Contractor and subcontractor staff, ensure staff development, and work with third-party vendors applicable to his/her site as needed. The Network Service Owner Lead is required to organize, direct, and manage all support functions applicable to the network infrastructure for multiple, complex, and inter-related project tasks. Must be able to review task plans and deliverable items, and manage schedules in line with budget. The Network Service Owner Lead will ensure all personnel within his/her responsibility receive adequate guidance and direction for performing their daily tasks and will be responsible for developing/presenting briefings, preparing correspondence, and submitting project status reports as required.

 

Typical Responsibilities include:

 

Experience managing a full spectrum of Network infrastructure management services. Oversee and manage the implementation, technology integration, guidance for both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, developing and documenting network infrastructure policies and procedures. Experience managing a network infrastructure maintenance program for networks, systems, and services.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:


• BS 12-15, MS 10-13, PhD 10+.  Additional years of experience can be used in lieu of a degree.

• Must possess five (5) years of experience managing IT professionals
• Must possess experience with site-specific logistics and technical challenges in a dynamic functional, management, and technical environment
• Must possess experience working on a global-based, enterprise-wide project communicating with local and long-distance Government personnel
• Must possess a TS clearance with eligibility for SCI
• Must possess certifications in one or more or commensurate of the following:
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• CompTIA Network+
• Juniper Networks Certified Associate

 

Desired Qualifications:

 

• Possess experience with IT Service Delivery using an ITIL/ITSM framework similar in size, scope, and complexity to the requirements of this TO.
• Certifications in one or multiple Cloud Service Provider umbrellas: Amazon Web Services (AWS) / Azure (MicroSoft) / Other
• Certifications in SolarWinds Certified Professional, VMWare Certified Technical Associate - Network Virtualization (VCTA-NV), Certified VoIP Professional
• Software Defined Networking experience is desired.
• Experience (assigned or working with) the SOF community.

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
