Peraton has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Optimization Service Owner Lead providing comprehensive systems and network engineering and architectural planning services. The Optimization Service Owner Lead will provide contractor management, direction, administration, and leadership of the execution of his/her respective site’s requirements for the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) in support of United States (U.S.) Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). The Optimization Service Owner Lead assigns tasks to contractor personnel, supervises ongoing SITEC 3 EOM technical efforts, coordinates with the USSOCOM TPOC, and manages data systems and servers performance.

The Optimization Service Owner Lead must be self-motivated and will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to communicate clearly, both written and orally. The Optimization Service Owner Lead must have good management and communication skills to interact and coordinate effectively with both internal and external executive leadership teams.

The Optimization Service Owner Lead will assist the Government in developing and documenting Architect and Engineering (A&E) Services policies and procedures. He/she interfaces with operations and maintenance (O&M) personnel by providing strategic design and support to projects as directed. The Optimization Service Owner Lead reviews existing architectures on a regular basis, recommending and assisting with the design and implementation of systems and network improvements as required. He/she manages and responds to Government issues, concerns, and comments, and proactively alerts the Government to performance issues.

The Optimization Service Owner Lead will manage Contractor and subcontractor staff, ensure staff development, and work with third-party vendors applicable to his/her site as needed. He/she must be able to review task plans and deliverable items and manage schedules in line with budget. The Optimization Service Owner Lead will ensure all personnel within his/her responsibility receive adequate guidance and direction for performing their daily tasks and will be responsible for developing/presenting briefings, preparing correspondence, and submitting project status reports as required.

Typical Responsibilities include:
Experience in Architect and Engineering services to provide comprehensive systems and network engineering and architectural planning services. Manage the interface with Operations and Maintenance personnel through strategic design and support. Experience managing the review of existing architectures, making recommendations, and assisting with design and implementation of systems and network improvements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS 12-15, MS 10-13, PHd 10+.  Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Must possess a TS clearance with eligibility for SCI
• Must possess certifications in one or multiple Cloud Service Provider umbrellas:
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) / Azure (MicroSoft) / Other
• Must possess five (5) years of experience managing IT professionals
• Must possess experience working on a global-based, enterprise-wide project communicating with local and long-distance Government personnel
• Must Possess experience from previous roles in Enterprise Solutioning to include servers, storage, databases, and web/portal servers
• Must possess high-level customer interaction/briefing experience, especially delivering technical data to a non-technical audience

Desired Qualifications:

• Possess experience with IT Service Delivery using an ITIL/ITSM framework similar in size, scope, and complexity to the requirements of this TO.
• Experience (assigned or working with) the SOF community.
• Knowledge and experience with Hyper Converged Infrastructure (HCI) combined with Hybrid Cloud solutions.
