Peraton has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Special Operations Forces (SOF) Integrated Facility (SIF)Service Owner Lead to provide contractor management, direction, administration, and leadership of the execution of their respective site’s requirements for the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) in support of United States (U.S.) Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). The SOF SIF Service Owner Lead will be responsible for assigning tasks to contractor personnel, supervising ongoing SITEC 3 EOM technical efforts, coordinating with the USSOCOM TPOC, and managing the overall site’s performance.
The SOF SIF Service Owner Lead needs to be self-motivated and required to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to communicate clearly, both written and orally. The SOF SIF Service Owner Lead must have good management and communications skills to interact and coordinate effectively interfacing with both internal and external executive leadership team. The SOF SIF Service Owner Lead is responsible for managing technical issues and business processes; managing and responding to Government issues, concerns, and comments; and alerting the Government proactively to potential contractual or programmatic and resource limitations issues. The SOF SIF Service Owner Lead will be the main interface between the USSOCOM end customers, the SITEC 3 EOM contractor, component Deputy Program Managers, and the component J6 management staff and provide input into the management activities within their functional area. The SOF SIF Service Owner Lead will manage the Contractor and subcontractor staff, ensure staff development and mentor as applicable as well as work with third-party vendors applicable to their site as needed. The SOF SIF Service Owner Lead will manage teams of contract support at multiple locations. The SOF SIF Service Owner Lead is required to organize, direct, and manage all support functions involving multiple, complex, and inter-related project tasks. Must be able to review task plans and deliverable items, manage schedules in line with financial budget. The SOF SIF Service Owner Lead will ensure all personnel in his/her responsibility receive adequate guidance and direction for performing their daily tasks and will be responsible for developing/presenting briefings, preparing correspondence, and preparing project status reports as required.
Typical Responsibilities include:
Manage and oversee staff supporting the SIF to plan, design, install, engineer, test, validate, integrate, package, and document new capabilities for the SIE. Manage and oversee the operation and maintenance of all SIF server, storage, and network infrastructure, including the timely application of approved cybersecurity patches, software, and software updates as required. Supervises the coordination and collaboration with the SITs at USSOCOM, its Component Commands, and its TSOCs in order to assist them with the integration of site-specific hardware, firmware, and software into the SIE baseline. Manage and oversee technical personnel who apply approved cybersecurity patches, software, and hardware updates as required.
Manage and oversee the project team to execute transition activities to field new capabilities for USSOCOM, its Component Commands, TSOCs, and deployed forces. Assist the operations and management team with project planning, installation, operation, and maintenance of new capabilities, as required, before requesting Government approval for official release. Supervises the production required build documentation and training materials and test the environment to ensure a smooth transition to the operations and management team.
Manage and oversee the comprehensive systems and network engineering and architectural planning services. Interfaces with O&M personnel by providing strategic design and support to projects as directed. Comprehensively review existing architectures on a regular basis, recommending and assisting with the design and implementation of systems and network improvements as required.
Manage and oversee the performance of small scale IMAC services for IT hardware and software to include the installation, relocation, upgrade, change, modification, reconfiguration, and assistance with disposition of hardware and software.
