Responsibilities
Modeling Based Systems Engineer/NOVA Modeling
- Conducts logical analysis of management problems and developing multivariate analysis, linear modeling, and data mining.
- Uses computer technology, computer modeling, spreadsheet applications, software tools, and programming languages.
- Analyses data and conducts advanced statistical analyses and applies mathematical calculations.
- Presents findings and recommendations to appropriate groups and helps to determine what actionable steps can be taken based on the findings.
- Communicates and trains users on model results. Prepares written, non-technical reports to management, indicating analytical finding and models.
- May supervise more junior staff and schedule work to meet completion dates.
- Guides predictive analytics model development. Interfaces with customer and helps define work process.
- May estimate time frames, quality and quantity of resources required to successfully implement project; develops project plan incorporating all project variables.
- May establish criteria concerning deliverability, performance, maintenance, design and costs.
- May conduct periodic status checks with customers and team to assess progress against plan.
- May perform re-forecasts of project variables as necessary throughout project and prepare routine status reports on all project activities.
- May be assigned responsibility for the management of the function, including associated staff.
- Support to Offensive Systems analysis requires scientific and technical assistance to analyze, simulate, design, measure, test, and evaluate offensive missile systems, subsystems, components, technologies, command and control assets, system support and maintenance equipment, and related items in support of the SCAR Program.
- The emphasis is to assess the development, physical characteristics, performance, vulnerabilities, and employment of offensive missile systems.

Minimum 12 years w/o a degree
Minimum 8 years with BA/BS
Minimum 6 years with MA/MS
- TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly
Highly Desired Skills:
- NOVA Modeling
- Analysts must have experience performing V&V for the Threat Modeling and Analysis Program (TMAP) or Optimized Missile Engagement General Architecture (OMEGA) and ITASE.
Target Salary Range
$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
