Program Overview
About The Role

Peraton is currently seeking a Traning and Development Specialist to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Washington D.C.  The qualified applicant will become part of Peraton’s HHS OIG Information Technology Service Desk Support and Engineering Services Program. 

 

What you'll do:

  • Designs and delivers programs to train all levels of personnel.
  • Formulates teaching outline and determines instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops.
  • Develops tests and visual aids, conducts training classes, and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities.
  • Collaborates with sales, marketing, and engineering to identify program needs, obtains technical data, and schedules programs.
  • Keeps abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques.
  • Confers with management, employees, and customers to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives and technologies.
  • May evaluate and/or oversee contractors or vendors to develop and/or administer training programs.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD
  • Ability to work with all levels of personnel
  • Ability to design and deliver all training of program guideline and processes
  • Ability to create the required training outlines for the progam's subject matter
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range

Details

Target Salary Range: $66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
