Do you want to be part of a team that supports U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM)? Peraton is looking for a Transition Project Manager (Staffing) who plans, leads, and executes assigned program transition-in responsibilities. Updates (as needed) and implements the staffing plan for SCOPES transition-in as USSOUTHCOM needs change in response to the dynamic mission environment. You will oversee the recruitment and onboarding of new hires (especially incoming incumbent staff), develop job descriptions, identify and screen candidates, and conduct interviews. Manages the project timing and costs and ensure that the staffing process is completed on time and within budget as well as identify and align critical resources. Tracks and monitors staffing performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Manages and resolves staffing issues and disputes. Provides regular reports on staffing progress and performance to SCOPES Government and Peraton leadership. Stays up-to-date on the latest DoD staffing regulations and requirements (e.g., SOFA). Assists FSO on security clearance processing; provides weekly security clearance updates to Peraton leadership. Oversees start-up projects, including governance, communications, and human resources. Coordinates with TPOC/incumbent for receipt of ID/access cards, security codes, and passwords.
