Responsibilities

Peraton will deliver a broad spectrum centralized IT infrastructure, services, and processes to include Cybersecurity Task Order (CTO) compliance activities for the USSOUTHCOM networks to include three enduring Joint Task Forces (JTFs) and multiple Security Cooperation Office(s) (SCO). Our team will provide support to continuously evolve and leverage the latest technologies and best practices to rapidly refresh capabilities and ensure platforms and intelligence operations are optimized to support the SOUTHCOM missions. Peraton will ensure that all required capabilities meeting the USSOUTHCOM’s mission and those of its various mission partners, to include, but not limited to, other DoD organizations, other U.S. Federal and state government agencies, and foreign government military and non-military mission partners.

 

As the User Experience (UX) Lead you will provide guidance & support in the translation of Desired Functional/Technical/Operational Outcomes into actionable/deliverable requirements

 

  • Develop and execute best practice methods for capturing user needs across an enterprise IT environment
  • Employ a data-driven approach towards recommending UX improvements
  • Applying Human-Centered Design (HCD) principles and tools to an enterprise IT environment
  • Recommend tools, techniques, and processes to evaluate, manage, and improve overall customer experience in the enterprise
  • Manage and direct a team of customer experience and user experience professionals towards understanding current user needs, identify areas for improvement, and collaborate with team members to deploy intuitive IT services
  • Recommend metrics to track team and organizational customer experience performance
  • Incorporate organizational change management into overall customer experience strategy
  • Develop standardized practices and toolkits to formalize the design practice within the organization
  • Proficient in applying service design to an enterprise IT organization
Qualifications

 Required Skills and Experience 

    • Secret clearance with Top Secret/SCI eligibility
    • 12 years of applicable experience
    • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related field (6 Additional years of applicable experience may be substituted for a BS, AS plus 4 years applicable experience may be substituted for BS)
    • 6 years of relevant experience in user research and testing for web sites and applications.
    • Proven ability to synthesize data findings into actionable recommendations.
    • Experience working with multiple testing methods.
    • Experience working with both quantitative and qualitative user data.
    • Ability to create low/mid fi mockups to explain recommendations.
    • Demonstrated experience in communicating effectively with all levels of contract and customer organizations and with translating academic and technical terminology into common terms.
    • Demonstrated experience with meeting deadlines with both timeliness and quality and with balancing and prioritizing work across multiple projects.
    • Strong organization and time management skills.

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
