Responsibilities
Peraton is hiring an Administrative Operations Analyst at Wahiawa, Oahu in Hawaii
This person supports Navy Information Operations Command (NIOC) - Hawaii through planning, executing and coordinating program administrative functions. This position provides comprehensive support to senior management and staff, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of unit operations.
What you'll do:
- Provide planning assistance to senior management and staff members, including but not limited to time management, scheduling, coordinating meetings, and travel logistics
- Plan, organize and maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical filing systems for important documents, correspondence, reports, and other materials
- Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information
- Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries, emails, and phone calls
- Facilitate communication between various departments, stakeholders, and external partners as needed
- Analyze internal processes and recommend and implement procedural or policy changes to improve operations, such as supply changes or the disposal of records
- Produce status reports on the progress of action items and initiatives for the function
- Assist in maintaining records, databases, and spreadsheets as required. Track expenses, process invoices, and assist in budget monitoring and financial record-keeping tasks.
- Support the planning and execution of organizational events, conferences, and meetings
- Coordinate logistics, such as venue bookings, catering arrangements, and audiovisual equipment setup
- Draft, proofread, and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations as required. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to organizational standards.
- Assist in the coordination and tracking of various projects and initiatives within the organization
- Provide administrative support to project teams as needed
- Provide general support and assistance to other team members and departments, as required
- Maintain flexibility to handle diverse tasks and responsibilities as they arise
- This position may require up to 20% travel CONUS and OCONUS.
Qualifications
What you'll need:
- 5 years with BS/BA or 9 years of experience, in lieu of degree
- Active TS/SCI
- 5 years of administrative experience supporting the Department of Defense (DoD)
- Experience as an administrative assistant in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software applications
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with U.S. Navy administrative functions, doctrine, and policies
Target Salary Range
$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
