Peraton is seeking an Applications Support Specialist to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals on our Department of State (DOS) Bureau of Consular Affairs Enterprise Infrastructure Operations (CAEIO) Program. The CAEIO Program provides IT Operations and Maintenance to modernize the legacy networks, applications, and databases supporting CA services globally.
The Applications Support Specialist will be a member of the Applications Support team, responsible for providing support services related to the installation and deployment of CA applications. Activities include troubleshooting, diagnosis, evaluation, maintenance, availability, and performance monitoring. The team focuses on reducing operational down time during both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance by accelerating the deployment of approved changes, fixes, and updates.

Core Work Schedule: Second shift: 3:00 PM ET - 11:30 PM ET (Flexible), Monday - Friday. The Applications Support Specialist must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends.
Work Location: This position is hybrid with remote work and up to two days per week in the office in Sterling, VA or Washington, DC.
This position is hybrid after the individual completes an 8-week New Hire Training Program. The individual will be required to work onsite for the first 2-3 weeks, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM in Sterling, VA. After completing the training program, the individual will work their assigned shift in Sterling or DC up to two days per week. With manager approval, the individual can work remotely the other days. The number of days the individual works onsite is subject to change based on government/program requirements (for example, surge support might require the individual to be in the office more than two days per week).
