Responsibilities
- Provides expertise in the formulation of systems scope and objectives relative to the Sponsor’s plans and requirements.
- Determines operational objectives by studying mission functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
- Analyzes mission and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified cloud based systems.
- Works independently or as a member of a project team responsible for providing technical guidance related to the mission implications of the application of various systems.
- Devises and/or modifies procedures to solve technical problems related to cloud capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
- Creates detailed specifications from which programs and services will be written.
- Provides technical support for computer systems and associated networks.
- Troubleshoots, services, and repairs software applications running in the cloud.
- Provides software support to internal and/or external customers.
- Diagnoses reported software, and network problems; resolves problems or engages additional technical support as necessary.
- Maintains network diagrams and records, maintains trouble logs, instructs users in the use of applications.
- Investigates information, network, and communications needs of users and makes recommendations regarding software and cloud purchases.
Qualifications
- Requires 7 years with BS/BA; 5 years with MS/MA; 2 years with PhD.
- Requires a TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Requires experience with cloud environments including AWS.
- Requires experience with Linux operating systems.
- Requires an understanding of SecDevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
Target Salary Range
$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
