Responsibilities
The Financial & Regulatory Business Unit Finance Director in Citizen Security and Public Services Sector partners with the program leaders to ensure that financial performance for the business is achieved. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Gathers financial data and performs financial analyses and reporting (e.g., profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow, pricing etc.). Drives the forecasting process (weekly, monthly and long term) by analyzing trends within the businesses and ensuring alignment with business and corporate wide objectives. Communicates and drives adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), CAS, FAR and the organizations financial goals and policies. Employs a deep understanding of pricing and supply chain. Must have government contracting experience.
Other responsibilities include:
- Manages the finance function for a mid-sized complex Business Unit for one of the company's largest, most complex businesses.
- Ensures successful program start-up, execution and recompete preparation.
- Develops and leads planning, design, implementation, communication, and delivery of the company's finance initiatives within area of accountability across the organization.
- Accountable for leading an organization of managers and individual contributors for a business function by setting overall initiatives, allocating financial and human capital for programs and projects, and ensuring timely and effective delivery of financial programs.
- Consults with business leaders at the SVP and VP level to drive and influence strategic decision-making within a broad scope (e.g., balancing risk, approving significant deals).
- Leads process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function.
- Oversees the key controls within one or more domains of responsibility to ensure compliance with legal and accounting requirements (e.g., GAAP, SBC, AFM).
- Manages large external vendor relationships (e.g., auditors).
- Leads implementation of business-wide programs and products.
- May be responsible for significant dotted-line employee reporting relationships.
- Ensures that the financial strategies and initiatives within area of accountability are integrated with corporate and business strategies.
- Manages a function that supports business unit performance and implementation of the global functional/Finance strategy.
- Typically partners with managers, VPs, and SVPs.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Required
- Minimum of 16 years of comprehensive financial and administrative experience with a minimum of 5 years in a senior finance leadership role.
- BS or BA in Accounting or Finance is required with preference given to those with a CPA or MBA qualifications.

Target Salary Range
$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
