- Serves as a Chief Engineer and technical engineering POC on the program
- Applies professional knowledge of scientific and technical engineering concepts, principals, phenomena, and relationships to assess specific requirements, delineate appropriately engineered designs, and develop preliminary and final design plans.
- Communicate in an effective and timely manner with all stakeholders and effectively leverage relationships to foster support for accomplishments of goals and objectives.
- Reviews both the technical, schedule and hours status of each project effort to ensure effort is completed both technically and within budget.
- For new project efforts, works with PMO and TPOCs to gather and develop technical requirements, schedule, FTE, performance criteria, CDRL definitions, and project effort kick off briefings.
- Presents findings and recommendations to appropriate groups and helps to determine what actionable steps can be taken based on the findings.
- Prepares written, technical reports to management.
- May supervise junior staff and schedule work to meet completion dates.
- Communicates and collaborates effectively and efficiency with other technical government and contractor engineers assigned to the complex project.
- Provides direct support the PMO to the success through successful programmatic and technical evaluation.
- Has proven ability to manage simultaneous multiple projects and priorities.
- Minimum of 20 years w/o BS/BA; Minimum of 16 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 14 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 10 years with Ph.D.
- TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly.
- Minimum 10 years of experience reviewing both the technical, schedule and hours status of each project effort to ensure effort is completed both technically and within budget.
- Minimum 10 years of experience working with new project efforts, with PMO and TPOCs to gather and develop technical requirements, schedule, FTE, performance criteria, CDRL definitions, and project effort kick off briefings.
- Desired: Lead and advise in the assessment of theory of operations, characteristics and performance, physical characteristics, signatures, vulnerability, and employment of foreign weapons systems Oversee all analysis, evaluation, assessment, and documentation of intelligence information on current and future defensive systems to include subsystems, components, and technologies.
- Desired: Lead all engineering work in planning, operations, and final radar and missile designs.
- Desired: Understanding and knowledge of the Integrated Technical Evaluation and Analysis of Multiple Sources (ITEAMS) processed used to determine a detailed threat design.
- Desired: Possess an understanding of Threat Modeling Analysis Program digital models, simulations, hardware representations of defensive systems used to assess system capabilities, performance and vulnerabilities.
Target Salary Range
$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
