Responsibilities
Peraton is currently seeking a Cyber Intelligence Operations Analyst who will be responsible for integrating knowledge, information, and data from a variety of partners, to include the U.S Intelligence Community (IC), State, local, tribal, and territorial (SLTT), the private sector, international partners, the U.S. critical infrastructure, and computer network defense communities.
Location: Arlington, VA. * This position will allow you the ability to telework 50% of the time. Must be able to work on-site as required based on business conditions/needs.
In this role, you will:
- Manage Requests for Information (RFI) that are requested from Analysts, scope then assigning RFI to vendors for their action. Review, consolidate and forward responses to the requested analyst.
- Proactive outreach (you will proactively be making calls, sending emails and communications, etc.) on behalf of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA)
- Work with the Mission Team analysts in creating/updating Information Needs (IN).
- Draft organizational documentation such as Concept of Operations, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, etc.
- Identify opportunities to increase the efficacy of cyber incident report handling and workflows.
- Document challenges, coordinates across teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, and recommend solutions to ensure incident reporting apparatus success.
- Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and agency's satisfaction goals and objectives.
- Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and analysts.
- Establish measures of effectiveness for cyber plans and activities that examine current processes and prior cyber incidents for lessons learned and best practices.
- Coordinate and facilitate internal and external partner engagements facilitating information exchange and responding to requests for information or assistance.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years' of experience.
- Proven ability to develop and recommend corrective actions.
- Ability and amenability to performing proactive outreach (you will proactively be making outbound calls, sending emails and communications, etc.) on behalf of the program.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.
- In addition, selected candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated DHS background investigation (EOD) for continued employment.
Target Salary Range
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
