Responsibilities

Peraton is currently seeking a Cyber Intelligence Operations Analyst who will be responsible for answering requests for information (RFI) from a variety of partners, to include the Federal Civilian Executive Branch (FCEB), U.S Intelligence Community (IC), State, local, tribal, and territorial (SLTT), the private sector, international partners, U.S. critical infrastructure, and computer network defense communities.

 

Location: Arlington, VA.

* This position will allow you the ability to telework 50% of the time. Must be able to work on-site as required based on business conditions/needs.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Be part of a team that optimizes analytical activities and integrates them into Threat Hunting & CISA Operations, as well the broader cyber community.
  • Conduct research and analysis using classified and unclassified data sources.
  • Write, edit, and format RFI responses in a clear and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with Mission Teams, adversary analysts, and network analysts to source and develop complex information.
  • Review, consolidate, and facilitate information exchanges across various teams.
  • Articulate research findings via written communications.
  • Apply knowledge of data, information, processes, organizational interactions, skills, and analytical expertise, as well as systems, networks, and information exchange capabilities to accomplish mission needs.
  • Establish measures of effectiveness for activities that examine current processes and for lessons learned and best practices.
  • Document challenges, coordinates across teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, and recommend solutions to ensure mission effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
  • Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and agency satisfaction goals and objectives.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience required.
  • Possess demonstrated exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience conducting research and analysis.
  • Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Working knowledge of cyber operations theory, tactics, techniques and procedures required.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • An active Top Secret security clearance with eligibility to obtain SCI required.
    • In addition, selected candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated DHS background investigation (EOD) for continued employment.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience handling and answering requests for information.
  • CompTIA Security+.
  • Demonstrated excellence in business acumen, team orientation and strong customer service skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines when required.
  • Excellent oral presentation and briefing skills.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to quality.
  • Experience drafting briefings, policy documents, SOP’s, RFI’s, RFP’s or official communications on behalf of the U.S. Government.

Target Salary Range

$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
