Responsibilities
Peratons' Regional Cyber Center – Europe (RCC-E) Program is seeking a Cyber Systems Administrator to join their diverse team in Wiesbaden, Germany. The RCC-E pushes the boundaries of innovation and security while providing high availability network services for the Army to accomplish its mission in Europe.
Location: Wiesbaden, Germany.
In this role you will:
- Provide Information Management and Information Technology Support per the policies and regulations to the U.S. Army.
- Create and deliver tactical solutions to enable mission completion to support the warfighter.
- Create plans and recommendations for life cycle replacement and standard operating procedures.
- Implement and maintain policies and guidelines delivered by the RCC-E.
- Interact with business and engineering personnel to quickly implement solutions to software and hardware issues in order to meet mission requirements.
- Manage all software licensing and renewals for baseline products and above baseline products.
- Update and maintain all Hardware, Software and Video conferencing systems for secure and non-secure protocols, administer updates, installations, repairs, and configurations for all systems, software, and hardware.
- Provide System Administration for Windows 10 operating system.
- Review reports and logs to perform diagnostics for system restoration.
- Assist users with additional workstation capabilities.
- Perform Network printer installation and fixes.
- Assist with setting up and installing software.
- Install workstations to include computer equipment replacement.
- Identify Windows update conflicts.
- Maintain equipment inventory for analyzing and tracking.
- Provide system administrator support for baseline and above baseline approved software.
- Review Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) reports for implementation of patch and scan remediation.
- Manage, Process, and Setup of NIPR and SIPR accounts.
- Coordinate and advise users of Army IT policies.
- Approve/Disapprove software installs based on budget and policies.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of recent specialized experience, or an Associate’s degree and seven (7) years of recent specialized experience OR; Major Certification (such as CCDP, CCIE, CISSP, CCNP, MCSE) and nine (9) years of recent specialized experience OR; eleven (11) years of recent specialized experience with a High School diploma or equivalent.
- A solid understanding of Windows 10/11, Windows Server, end-user support in an Active Directory environment, and a general understanding of LAN/WAN networking.
- Meet 8140 DCWF 411 Intermediate (BS STEM Degree or one of GFACT, CND, Security+, GSEC, FITSP-O, GISCP, CCNP Security, CISA, or SSCP).
- Meet residential certification requirement (One of Microsoft certification [MCSA, MCSE] on Windows 10, 11, 2016 or higher or any Microsoft 365 certification).
- U.S citizenship required.
- Active DoD Secret clearance with a recent investigation date.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Operating Systems.
- Previous experience working in US Army environments Working knowledge of US Army Regional Cyber Center operations.
- A proven positive experience in working with government customers.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment where multiple projects are being developed and deployed simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Experience with one or more scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Perl.
Target Salary Range
$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
