Responsibilities
The USSOUTHCOM SCITES II program seeks a driven self-starter to assist in leading program operations and ensuring the successful execution of enterprise IT services across a geographically dispersed environment. The selected individual will directly support the Program Manager in overseeing operational excellence, managing daily activities, and ensuring compliance with program deliverables and performance objectives.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Program Operations Leadership: Provide operational oversight for the program, ensuring seamless execution of IT operations and compliance with USSOUTHCOM mission objectives.
- Quality Management: Lead the program's Quality Management initiative, organizing regular reviews, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
- Operational Efficiency: Review and optimize practices, procedures, and processes to improve efficiency and reduce risks across program tasks.
- Service Level Agreement (SLA) Management: Aggregate, analyze, and report SLA performance, preparing detailed reports for status meetings and award fee evaluations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with task leads, technical points of contact, and USSOUTHCOM leadership to align program objectives and address operational challenges.
- Team Oversight: Provide leadership and mentorship to operational staff, ensuring task completion, performance consistency, and alignment with strategic goals.
- Contract Reporting: Support the creation and delivery of required program deliverables, including monthly and quarterly reports, and preparation for award fee presentations.
- Logistics Support: Oversee logistics for meetings, travel requests, and operational activities, ensuring timely coordination and execution.
- Program Transition Support: Contribute to transition-in and transition-out processes, ensuring continuity of services with minimal disruption.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 16+ years relevant experience, a higher degree can be consiered on lieu of equivalent experience (BS-4 Years, MS -6 Years)
- A minimum of 3 years in a Project or Program Management role.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead and manage a dispersed team.
- Proven ability to deliver operational oversight in a large-scale, high-security IT environment.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with eligibility for additional screenings as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with managing Service Level Agreements in enterprise IT environments.
- Knowledge of USSOUTHCOM mission, priorities, and operational frameworks.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.

Target Salary Range
$176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
