Responsibilities
Peraton has an immediate need for a Director of Solutions Architecture supporting growth opportunities for the Citizen Security & Public Services Sector. As Director, you will be a core member of the Peraton Growth Team, responsible for leading the design of innovative and cost-effective mission relevant solutions that could include Peraton capabilities such as systems engineering, applications, cyber security, cloud, data analytics and infrastructure solutions that address the operational and technology needs of our customers while helping to grow our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall leadership and management of the Lead Solution Architect team focused on the technical solution development, competitive costing, and business case alignment to Government requirements and Peraton sales strategies.
- Provide oversight of the creation and the documentation of the technical solution including cost estimating for the solution to support our winning proposal response to our government clients.
- Work closely with Business Development, Capture, Business Unit/Operational Unit leadership and Corporate Offerings teams to determine the overall solution strategy and approach to align to the customer’s objectives and requirements including merging industry point of view with broad technical knowledge and mission understanding to generate value propositions and approaches to solve Government customer challenges.
- Support all aspects of the Business Acquisition Process and Solution Development Process including governance reviews with senior Peraton management, identifying and evaluating solution risks and create strategies and plans to mitigate those risks.
- Establish strong relationships with Peraton partners to drive high quality solutions and compelling value propositions.
- Understand Operational environments and how to position Peraton to deliver end-to-end mission value to program sponsors.
- Ability to interact with customers to gain insights into customer needs and support shaping activities by articulation the benefits of Peraton solutions.
- Translate the benefits of our approach to specific levels of seniority within the sponsor teams (strategic vs. tactical) Translate innovation and R&D into differentiated solutions for customers working with company technology leadership, network of contacts to include government, OEMs, and competitors.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business, computer science, electrical engineering, systems engineering, information technology, or a related field and a minimum of 16 years industry experience or a minimum of 14+ years industry experience with Masters OR a minimum of 10+ years industry experience with PhD
- Minimum 3 years of experience in supporting successful technical solutions for large, complex opportunities and proposal submissions for US Federal Government customers.
- Ability to collaborate with Peraton Growth leadership to understand the CSPS sector business priorities, pipeline and Peraton corporates goals with the ability to apply this knowledge to the Growth objectives
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in a variety of formats with varying levels of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and communicate at the senior and executive management levels.
- Experienced leading/managing teams is preferred
Desired
Target Salary Range
$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
