Responsibilities

Peraton has a great opportunity for an Integrated Master Scheduler in Chantilly, VA supporting an Intelligence Community (IC) customer.  At the heart of national security, we've been embedded into this cutting-edge program for nearly a decade. You will be working in a rewarding, mission focused environment, cutting edge software design, development, and deployment, contributing to the protection and defense of national space assets. Your efforts will fundamentally change what Space Domain Awareness and Mission Protection means for our Nation.

 

Skyfire is a Space Domain Awareness (SDA) Indications and Warning (I&W) system. Its purpose is to establish a repository of resident space objects (RSOs), find RSOs of interest, and provide data to ground operators. Located in Chantilly, VA, the Skyfire team uses: sensor modeling, and systems engineering expertise to deliver this world-class SDA I&W system. This position requires a minimum of an active TS clearance.

 

What you'll do:

 

The person in this role will work with program office stakeholders and partners to ensure quality inputs and baseline integrity aligning with government and company standards. The ideal candidate is a motivated team player who understands how to effectively and independently drive timely and accurate support of the IMS, using MS Project. We are seeking a critical thinker with expertise in scheduling best practices and compliance, able to make recommendations for alternative ways to view program information enabling program management decisions.

 

On-site work required for this position.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Associates degree and 10+ years of experience; OR Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience; OR Master's degree and 6+ years of experience. Four (4) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
  • 4+ years of MS Project experience, preferably with a software or system engineering background.
  • Experience working with Program leadership, Control Account Managers and Product Owners to identify project slack and dependencies, develop, analyze, and manage schedules that comply with a program’s Statement of Objectives (SOO), Technical Performance Requirements (TPRs), Contract Work Breakdown Structure (CWBS), and the Contract Statement of Work (CSOW).
  • Experience establishing and monitoring the execution of the program towards milestones, key events, and significant accomplishment criteria.
  • Experience applying data analytics skills to simplify technical requirements, establish metrics, and apply data visualization through different formats and tools.
  • Experience with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) project management guideline to ensure qualitative and quantitative schedule evaluation.
  • Must have experience in communicating with all levels of management.
  • This position requires the candidate possess a minimum of Top Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI and pass a polygraph within 30 days of employment or at customers request- contract requires TS/SCI with poly. The candidate must maintain the clearance.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Atlassian Jira tool or equivalent tracking systems
  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Experience working with Agile scrum teams, agile project management, agile software development, and/or software version control management.
  • Experience with enterprise architecture, application planning, and deployment.

SISMGS

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
