Responsibilities

Peraton is currently seeking to hire a IT Asset Administrator to become part of Peraton’s Department of State (DoS) Diplomatic Security Cyber Mission (DSCM) program, providing leading cyber and technology security experience to enable innovative, effective, and secure business processes.

 

Location: Rosslyn, VA


In this role, you will: 

  • Manage the administration of IT inventory, asset management, and technical service contracts.
  • Maintain and manage software licenses and updates.
  • Create and manage enterprise-wide asset management systems - can serve as liaison to the Finance and Legal departments as it related to the functions of the position.
  • Provide support by providing asset information and managing the physical inventory control.
  • Responsible for asset budget preparation, proven ability to coordinate IT Procurement activities – (i.e.upon receipt of purchase orders), invoice processing and reconciles changes in inventory.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years’ experience required. An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.
  • Efficient in ensuring corporate and legal guidelines are followed for managing IT hardware and software assets; proficiency maintaining / managing software licenses and updates.
  • Has background in being responsible for the evaluation, recommendation, and implementation of asset management systems for all IT technical assets.
  • U.S. citizenship required. 
  • Ability to obtain Secret security clearance.
    • Eligibility to obtain a final Top-Secret clearance.

Target Salary Range

$39,000 - $62,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
