Program Overview
About The Role

Peraton is seeking a Journeyman Operations Research Analyst (SIGNET-COMINT) to support the United States Army Pacific Command (USARPAC) under the Theater Army Campaign Support (TACS) task order. This position is located at Fort Shafter in Hawaii.  As a communications intelligence (COMINT) analyst, you will utilize your skills and experience to generate intelligence, products, and analytical assessments.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Explore new data sources, build effective queries, and combine information from disparate sources, including SIGINT, geospatial intelligence (GEOINT), and open-source intelligence (OSINT).
  • Validate information and build assessments for warfighters and policy makers.
  • Work with other analysts to share tactics and techniques.
  • Provide intelligence support for contingency operations, battle staff and operational-level planning.
  • Analyze complex system integration requirements to identify mission vulnerability targets and develop multiple scenarios to resolve all mission threats.
  • Perform mission planning and projections to anticipate future resource requirements to counter identified threats.
  • Develop documentation to support objectives in support of external agencies.
  • Translate analytical results into effective briefings.
  • Analyze operational availability of strategic and tactical intelligence assets.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum 5 years of professional experience, or associate’s degree and a minimum 7 years of professional experience, or HS diploma or GED and a minimum 9 years of professional experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with COMINT, PROFORMA, or Foreign Instrumentation Signals Intelligence (FISINT) collection and signals analysis
  • Minimum 5 years of experience supporting a government agency such as the DoD
  • Experience with collection and signals analysis
  • Knowledge of signal characteristics, structure, parameters, and content
  • Ability to analyze and report technical characteristics of signals in the RF and digital domains to determine structure, parameters, content, and purpose
  • Ability to provide shift work support
  • TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
  • US Citizenship Required
  • Completion of 450/460 Fundamental COMINT Signals Analysis courses

Desired:

  • Experience with INDOPACOM Intelligence problem sets
  • Completion of a credentialing Service School including Army 35S, Air Force 1N2C, Marine 2621, or Intelligence Community (IC) tradecraft-recognized SIGINT analyst certification course
  • Completion of Military 451/461 Intermediate COMINT Signals Analysis course, 452 Advanced COMINT Signals Analysis, Intermediate PROFORMA Workshop (IPW)
  • Experience with various intelligence disciplines

  • Knowledge of the data and tools utilized within the intelligence community

SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range

Details

Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
