Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team in terms of delivering and supporting security solutions based on customer requirements and industry
- Knowledge of Defender for Endpoint Defender for Identity Defender for Office
- Experience in monitoring, detecting, implementing, supporting, and delivering security solutions such as Microsoft Security and Compliance
- Experience in using Azure Cloud Security / Monitoring Tools such as Azure Log Analytics, Security Center, Azure Monitor, Network Watcher, Diagnostics, Activity Logs, etc
- Understanding of Cloud concepts such as IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and how it relates to security
- Endpoint Protection/Antivirus subject matter expert (SME) to create detailed reports for executives using tools such as PowerBI and troubleshoot infrastructure issues with IT Infrastructure Division.
- Daily download and copy of virus definition files to other enclaves until automation has been implemented.
- Daily monitoring BigFix reports to ensure anti-virus/anti-malware protection is maintained and create BigFix reports as needed.
- Coordinate and submit scanning file/folder exclusions with other application owners.
- Resolve incidents related to anti-virus/anti-malware on workstations and servers.
- Coordinate with the support teams to reconcile computers with compliance issues or for assistance with temporary workarounds.
- Perform knowledge transfer to new contractor or government operations and maintenance personnel
- Upon request, provide compliance reports from the Defender Security Center or MECM Config Manager, other anti-virus console and create reports using tools such as PowerBI to present to management and customers.
- Monitor the anti-virus vendor support notification service (SNS) for critical information, i.e., alerts, notices, patches, and upgrades.
- Prepare anti-virus/anti-malware requirements for baseline image generation.
- Coordinate with other IT Services Divisions, as necessary.
- Review and respond to helpdesk tickets and support system incidents related to anti-virus/anti-malware.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Active/current Top Secret Clearance, with SCI eligibility
- Associates degree and 10+ years of experience; OR Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience; OR Master’s Degree and 6+ years of experience. Or 3 years with PhD. However, four (4) years of additional relevant experience or specialized training will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree
- Experience using Microsoft Security and Compliance
- Experience using Defender for Endpoint Defender and Identity Defender for Office
- Experience using the PowerBI platform and related tools including Excel
- Experience creating and managing Group Policy Objects
- Experience writing and running PowerShell scripts
- Experience engineering hardware and designs for large-scale enterprise applications
- Experience coordinating activities of technology product and service vendors and leading technical infrastructure design activities
- Experience in monitoring, detecting, implementing, supporting, and delivering security solutions such as Microsoft Security and Compliance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience administrating the BigFix platform
- Experience supporting the Defender platform in an offline environment

Target Salary Range
$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
