Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a motivated Mid-Level Program Manager Systems Integration (PMSI) Advisor to join our team of technical and business experts providing operational and mission support to a SI/SETA mission for a classified customer in Virginia.
In this role, the Systems Integration (SI) is focused on program/project management (e.g., milestone tracking, financial tracking/ management, applied systems engineering, etc.).
Our unique team of technical and business disciplines provide operational support for Systems Engineering/Integration, Mission Planning, and Business Operations to multiple functional mission areas. The team is responsible for technical design, operations, and mission planning and business operations for the full life cycle of customer specific operations (from concept through development and installation/O&M).
The Mid-Level Program Manager Systems Integration (PMSI) Advisor will be responsible for the following but not limited to:
- Support customer oversight of the inspection of various developments, ensuring they meet the organization's requested requirements.
- Provide support to one or more customers, assisting with project management.
- Work with customers and projects across the entirety of the organization
- Maintain project plans for branch assigned projects
- Maintain an action tracking system for action items related to projects, including actions from all reviews
- Participate and assist with establishing and supporting technical exchanges between the various contractor and customer experts
- Prepare, maintain, and assist with the preparation and maintenance of Statements of Work (SOWs), System Requirements Specifications (SRS), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), Concept of Operations (CONOPS), Requests for Change (RFCs), Test Plans, and all other project documents
- Review milestone documentation to ensure consistency with project requirements
- Attend CIR, PDR, CDR, and other reviews, document results of these meetings, solicit and integrate comments providing recommendations
- Travel to support operations.
Travel Requirements
While this role requires the candidate to perform duties on-site Mon-Fri, you may be required to travel CONUS and OCONUS, up to 50% as needed per mission requirement, in support of the customer.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- An Active/current TS/SCI with an active relevant Polygraph.
- Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a business, engineering, science or other related technical discipline and eight (8) years of relevant experience is required; or a Master's degree and six (6) years of relevant experience; or a PhD and three (3) years of relevant experience.
- Willingness and ability to aggressively learn the activities above.
- Project management experience including schedule development, monitoring, and contingency planning.
- Identifying and championing business process improvements.
- Desire and ability to work on multiple fast-paced projects.
- Strong program management skills, proactive self-starter, excellent interpersonal and soft skills, curious to learn, willing to speak openly and share ideas, demonstrates initiative, not waiting for direction, ability to adjust to change and direction, as needed, flexible.
- Prior experience writing official communications, as well as coordinating and documenting planning in official channels.
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, Power-Point, and MS Project.
- Demonstrated expertise in writing, and ability to brief complex technical information to non-experts.
- Must possess prior experience coordinating and documenting planning in official channels.
- Must possess prior experience working in multi-discipline technical and non-technical teams.
- Must possess prior experience conducting operations in the Intelligence Community (IC).
- Must be comfortable working in a dynamic team environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS up to 50%.
Desired Qualifications:
- Hands-on engineering or design experience.
- Experience with program/project management
- Previous experience directly supporting all levels of customer leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, lead, and execute process improvements.
- Familiarization with QA/QC processes.
- Deep historical and institutional knowledge of the customer mission and programs.
- Possess specific experience managing projects using sound project management principles.
- Familiarity with technical targeting methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to take undefined work with undefined success criteria and work with multiple stakeholders to turn into actionable and measurable efforts.
Salary Range Estimates:
The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees. Target Salary Range
$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
