Responsibilities

Peraton and its Operational Planning, Implementation and Assessment Services (OPIAS) Team is seeking an experienced Operations in the Information Environment (OIE) Planner.

 

This Position is Located at USSTRATCOM Offutt AFB, Omaha NE

 

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Conduct direct liaison, integration and synchronization with Combatant Command (CCMD) staff, subordinate units, and associated joint, interagency, intergovernmental and multi-national (JIIM) partners.
  • Provide expert mission analysis, analytic problem solving, and assessment of information operations
  • Creatively use of information systems and information related capabilities (IRC)
  • Provide integration with inter-agency and intelligence community (IC)
  • Utilize your knowledge of and ability to develop innovative concepts to counter adversarial use of information in the Cyber and Electromagnetic Spectrum (EMS)
  • Provide significant or key cultural considerations that affect operational and tactical planning, security, accreditation, risk assessment(s).
  • Provide counsel, guidance, and aid in applying technical skills to operational and tactical planning/execution, identifying and tracking measures of performance (MOP) thru attainment of measures of effectiveness (MOE).
Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA, minimum of 6 years with MS/MA. May consider an additional six years of relevant planning experience or Associates degree and four years of relevant planning experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Functional Area (FA30) or (37A/B) career field or related military equivalents.
  • Army/Joint Targeting, IPB, and COG analysis process as well as a general understanding of Army Training doctrine and procedures.
  • Knowledge in JOPP, MDMP, and MCPP planning and targeting processes and expertise in developing and accessing tactical and operational level plans and orders.
  • SOF planning processes; Army/Joint Targeting, IPB, Intelligence cycle, and COG analysis
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience with OIE/IO/PSYOP planning at the service or joint level, working that support operations with Combatant Commands or Joint Task Forces.
  • Experience with integrating, coordinating, and synchronizing adjacent and supporting operations, as well as developing support for related capabilities and their activities. Be familiar with, certified in, or have applicable operational/field time experience in:
    • Operations in the Information Environment (OIE)
    • Psychological Operations (PSYOP) / Military Information Support Operations (MISO)
    • Military Deception (MILDEC)
    • Operations Security (OPSEC)
    • Tactical Electronic Warfare (EW)
    • Cyberspace Operations
    • SIGINT related activities
  • Ability to engage senior JIIM leaders and staff, and conduct operational and informational briefings to a large audience.
  • Ability to work effectively within a task organized working group and expertise with planning, integrating, and coordinating with inter-agency and intelligence community entities. Coordinating with inter-agency and intelligence community and to work effectively within a task organized "working group".
  • Must be a US Citizen and Must possess or be able to obtain a U.S. Passport.
  • An Active Top Secret security clearance, based on current background investigation (SBI) with SCI Eligibility 

Preferred:

  • Masters of Military Art and Science – School of Advanced Military Studies, Strategic Communications, International Affairs, or similar fields
  • Recent Joint or Service Level Operations in the Information Environment (OIE) planning experience
  • Have the ability to review, analyze, and operationalize tactical and operational-level OIE-related directives in support of maneuver elements.

Target Salary Range

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
