Responsibilities

Peraton is looking for an experienced Predictive Modeler for a hybrid position (2-3 days of telecommuting).  This role will be located near Detroit, Michigan. 

 

Our mission is to “Enhance the government’s ability to ensure that material solutions acquired or adopted by the Marine Corps are designed, developed, fielded, and sustained in a manner that ensures horizontal integration across programs, maximizes the collective capability those programs deliver, and ultimately provide the warfighter a holistically orchestrated systems of systems capability”. 


What you'll do:


  • Work with a team to model system requiements to support JCIDS, ISP, and MBSE efforts. Lead and engage in information/data management projects including the Enterprise Architecture, information models and flows, data dictionaries, data standards, and data quality standards and processes.
  • Develop application modeling languages/techniques (e.g., Unified Modeling Language (UML), Systems Modeling Language (SysML), entity relationship modeling, Unified Profile for DoDAF/MODAF (UPDM2), and Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)) including the ability to create and read the associated diagrams.
  • Creation of data dictionaries, defining metadata management approaches and governance processes.
  • Experience in developing and implementing IT architecture plans, Enterprise Information Architecture
    standard and guidelines, software development methodologies and strategic plans.
Qualifications

What you'll need:

  • Education:5 years with BS/BA, 3 to 5 years with MS/MA or 0 to 2 years with PhD, or 9 years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • Clearance: Secret Security Clearance required
  • Familiarity with system modeling tools and modeling languages, particularly the Cameo application and SysML.

Desired qualifications:

  • Experience with data Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
  • Experience in Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and Network Architecture
    development
  • UML/SYSML/UPDM/UAF Knowledge
  • Marine Corps experience or knowledge

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
