Responsibilities

The Program Manager is responsible for the planning, organizing, directing and controlling of all activities to be performed on the task order and the overall management of tasks performed under contract and is the primary POC for contract issues. The Program Manager is responsible for ensuring that practical and effective systems are developed to meet the contract requirements and shall be the primary point of contact to the Government program manager and work in close collaboration with the COTR for contractual changes.

 

The Program Manager is also responsible for ensuring the quality and timeliness of the work performed resulting in process improvements that result in cost effectiveness and savings for the Government. The Program Manager shall provide oversight for financial, contractual, project management, technical and security actions on behalf of the Contractor.

 

The Program Manager acquires follow-on business associated with areas of responsibility and supports new business development.

Qualifications

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience (within the last 15 years) as a program manager for a program of similar or greater size, scope, and complexity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, or other related scientific or technical discipline. In lieu of degree, must have 5 additional years of experience in program management for a total of 15 years of mandatory experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to document and present plan, schedule and financial status.
  • Demonstrated work experience directly supporting the Sponsor.
  • Demonstrated experience in the complete engineering project development lifecycle from inception to deployment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing transition of responsibilities from one entity to another.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the management and control of funds and resources.
  • Demonstrated ability to build work breakdown structures, project schedules and allocate resources as needed in managing assigned projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage personnel and resolve personnel issues and conflict.
  • PMP certified or have a similar 3rd party PM certification.

Desired Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience managing the SCIF accreditation process.
  • Master’s degree or higher in the field of computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, or other related scientific or technical discipline.

Target Salary Range

$176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
