Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a motivated Program Manager Systems Integration (PMSI) Advisor  who enjoys traveling, to join our team of technical and business experts providing operational and mission support to a SI/SETA mission for a classified customer in Virginia.

 

Our unique team of technical and business disciplines provide operational support for Systems Engineering/Integration, Mission Planning, and Business Operations to multiple functional mission areas. The team is responsible for technical design, operations, and mission planning and business operations for the full life cycle of customer specific operations (from concept through development and installation/O&M).

 

The Program Manager Systems Integration (PMSI) Advisor will be responsible for the following but not limited to:

  • Mission integration and coordination with leads, campaigns, execution partners and organizations, as appropriate.
  • Assist with planning, documenting, executing, and reporting of all program details (e.g., project status, etc.), for both current year and out years, to stakeholders.
  • Attend project reviews to assist campaigns in monitoring of program/initiative outcomes.
  • Support the customer Program Managers in the production and tailoring of financial execution reports and program acquisition documentation and to assist the customer in assuring affordable, supportable, and effective program requirements are specified to meet mission needs.
  • Provide assistance in analyzing, tracking, and reporting program unfunded requirements in accordance with the unfunded requirements processes.
  • Prepare point papers, briefing charts, spreadsheets, and other materials to assist in program decision-making.
  • Coordinate financial data with appropriate customer officials, such as business financial managers, program managers, contract managers, contracting officers, and contracting specialists.
  • Assist customer Program Managers in tracking requirements through execution by tracking and monitoring requisitions through the approval and certification process and to subsequent destination.
  • Assist in monitoring expenses against budgets.
  • Assist in the creation of budget or financial planning for an organization, organizational unit, program, or expenditure/cost center to identify potential variances.
  • Utilize the established acquisition and financial management policies, procedures, regulations and tools.
  • Create and maintain spend plans in the customer's financial management system to document specified requirements.
  • Assist leads with resource planning and tracking.
  • Coordinate and track the technical status, deliverables, and project health for assigned projects within campaigns.
  • Travel to support operations.

Travel Requirements

  • Domestic travel up twice a year. Possible OCONUS travel.

**This role requires the candidate to perform duties on-site Mon-Fri.**

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • An Active/current TS/SCI with an active Polygraph.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 12 years of relevant experience; Master's degree and 10 years of relevant experience; PhD and seven (7+) years of relevant experience.
  • Strong program management skills, proactive self-starter, excellent interpersonal and soft skills, curious to learn, willing to speak openly and share ideas, demonstrates initiative, not waiting for direction, ability to adjust to change and direction, as needed, flexible.
  • Prior experience writing official communications, as well as coordinating and documenting planning in official channels.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting OREs in the IC.
  • Must possess prior experience coordinating and documenting planning in official channels.
  • Must possess prior experience working in multi-discipline technical and non-technical teams.
  • Must possess prior experience conducting operations in the IC.
  • Must possess prior experience working in multi-discipline technical and non-technical teams.
  • Must be comfortable working in a dynamic team environment. 
  • Willingness and ability to travel.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with RF collection and signals processing.
  • Possess specific experience managing projects using sound project management principles.
  • Experience working on cyber-related projects.
  • Familiarity with technical targeting methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to take undefined work with undefined success criteria and work with multiple stakeholders to turn into actionable and measurable efforts.

Salary Range Estimates:

 

The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Peraton provides a variety of benefits to employees.

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
