Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Project Technical Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.  This position can be worked remotely.  This qualified applicant will become part of Peraton’s United States Coast Guard (USCG) Infrastructure Managed Services (IMS) Program. This program is an enterprise delivery service consisting of several consolidated task orders and is executed to bring innovation and modernization to the USCG enterprise IT environment, within a managed service business model. The USCG enterprise encompasses an extensive range of IT services and has unique solution challenges to meet their mission needs. 

 

Day to Day Work Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the primary interface and point of contact with government program authorities and representatives on technical and program/project issues
  • Directs the performance of a variety of related projects, which may be organized by technology, program or client
  • Responsible for the successful technical, schedule, and cost performance of a major program, or multiple programs, through subordinate program/project managers, in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Assign staff and provide technical direction as necessary to complete tasks
  • Monitor contract, subcontract, and funding; prepare forecasts of program financial performance
  • Responsible for meeting project schedule timelines and performance objectives; conducting requirements reviews and information analysis, as well as producing cost-benefit analysis

  • Must assist clients in achieving all stated objectives and for ensuring quality and accuracy of deliverables and ensuring Section 508 compliance

  • Coordinates the work efforts of multiple projects surrounding a common program objective to ensure timely problem resolution and total customer satisfaction

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in project development from inception to deployment
  • U.S. Citizenship Required; must have an active Secret security clearance
  • Must have a minimum five (5) years of experience in Program and Project Management, Enterprise Planning / Systems Integration, organizational/transformation efforts, and standing up of new programs directly supporting of the US USCG, or other Government Agency
  • Expertise in the management and control of funds and resources using complex reporting mechanisms
  • Demonstrated capability in managing multi-task contracts and/or subcontracts of various types and complexity
  • Previous technical, schedule, and cost performance of a major program, or multiple programs, through subordinate program/project managers experience
  • Current Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification or the ability to obtain within one year.
  • Hands-on experience supporting complex programs and supporting program management offices.
  • Demonstrated advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Pro required.
  • Must be able to grasp inter-relationships between system management requirements and automated business solutions, considering the current system environment and the potential integration of added systems concurrently or later.
  • Ability to read and interpret Government policy, regulations, and directives, and to apply those interpretations as directed by the Product Line Manager or designee to all PWS activities.
  • Ability to provide executive level coaching to support personnel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Scrum Master certification

 

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
