Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals. 

 

Day to Day Work Responsibilities: 

 

The Organizational Change Management (OCM) Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Outline, plan, and implement organizational change to ensure successful transition from current state use of technology to future state use of technology in County of San Diego.
  • Ensure all end-users are prepared for change and realize benefits brought about by system implementations.
  • Effectively engage senior leaders and navigate organizational dynamics to drive technology initiatives aligned with strategic goals.
  • Lead large-scale IT implementations and organizational change efforts in local government settings, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and operational efficiencies.
  • Drive cultural change and mitigate risks through strategic planning, using analytical tools for readiness assessments and performance metrics to achieve measurable outcomes.

  • Develop comprehensive communication plans and training programs, tailored to diverse stakeholders, to support change initiatives and enhance organizational readiness.
  • Utilize strong organizational and project management skills, including proficiency in Microsoft applications, to manage complex projects within budget and timelines, while solving complex problems with practical solutions.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience, Master’s degree with 6 years of experience, or High School diploma with 12 years of experience.
  • Experience executing organizational change management initiatives within complex government organizations.
  • Prosci® or equivalent change management certification.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders effectively.
  • Experience with information and technology initiatives in large-scale implementations or new technology within local government contexts.
  • Leadership in major organizational change efforts related to information and technology in local government or similar public sector organizations.
  • Knowledge of HHS operations, processes, and regulations is advantageous.
  • Proven track record of leading complex organizational change initiatives with measurable outcomes.
  • Experience in strategic planning, organizational psychology/development, and driving successful culture change, including risk assessment and mitigation.
  • Proficiency in developing strategic communication plans and effectively communicating with diverse audiences through various channels such as presentations, written messages, and newsletters.
  • Development of training programs and materials to support change initiatives.
  • Utilization of analytical tools for readiness assessments, focus groups, surveys, impact assessments, risk assessments, and performance metrics.
  • Proficient in leading and facilitating groups, presenting briefings, and collaborating with senior leadership teams.
  • Knowledge of competency modeling, job task analysis, training needs assessments, and human capital study methods.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinker capable of making connections across workstreams and organizations.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Strong project management skills, including developing and executing change management plans within specified timelines and budgets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneDrive, OneNote, Visio, Project, SharePoint, and Publisher.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop practical solutions.

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
