We are seeking a Software Engineer – Appian to join our dedicated team and lead the charge in developing sophisticated software solutions that drive mission success. If you're passionate about crafting robust, scalable applications and solving complex challenges in a high-stakes environment, we want you on our team.

What You'll Do

As a Software Engineer – Appian, you’ll:

  • Gather, analyze, and define requirements to design software and web technologies that meet client needs.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems while adhering to formal design processes and industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex software challenges, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across systems.
  • Provide expertise in system design, product integration, and the adoption of new technologies to optimize application performance.
  • Work in high-side Linux environments to support and enhance mission-critical applications.

Qualifications

5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience: BA/BS degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience.

    An additional 4 years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Clearance: Active Top-Secret clearance with eligibility to obtain SCI and a polygraph.
  • Certifications: Security+ certification.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Proficiency in Java and Python (any level of experience accepted).
    • Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL databases (any level of experience accepted).
    • At least 2 years of experience designing, developing, or supporting Appian or Appian-based applications.
  • Adaptability: Ability to complete development work in secure, high-side Linux environments.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with government clients and stakeholders.
  • Experience in cloud technologies and understanding of the DIA engineering environment.
  • Proficiency in user feedback capture, process creation, and sustainable system improvements.
  • Experience with FIDBOS-X and engineering federal government core processes using Appian.

Details

Target Salary Range: $112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
