Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Hands on Red Hat/Solaris, Windows, and cybersecurity experience.
• Experience managing a team of System Administrators providing C2 and VDI/Web services to MPE CENTRIXS-K users; experience with Unix Shell scripting, Oracle/Sun HW, DISA STIG/SCAP implementation.
• Installing operating system software, patches, and upgrades
• Analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving system hardware, software, and networking issues
• Configuring, optimizing, fine-tuning, and monitoring operating system software and hardware
• Performing system backups and recovery
• Troubleshooting and documenting systems anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performance
• Provides feedback to design engineers and evaluates end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products through their entire life cycle.
• Ensures products and systems comply with requirements and government information assurance and cyber security standards and practices through formal verification methods.
• Assesses performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance.
• Responsible for keeping systems in line with security plans and recommending revisions to the plan, maintaining accounts and permissions, reviewing audit logs, addressing user concerns about system usability, general maintenance of existing systems
Basic Qualifications:
• Twelve (12) or more years in the field or related area; at least three (3) yeas of experience working in South Korea.
• BA/BS in information technology or related discipline
• Certification(s): ISC2, CISSP, Sun Certified Solaris System Admin, CompTIA Security+, Network+, ITIL V3
• Top Secret/SSBI clearance
