Responsibilities

Peraton is looking for a Program Manager to support a new Space Development Agency (SDA) program aligned to the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA) Program Integration effort. This program is comprised of systems engineering and integration activities, which will extend the PWSA through the acquisition and integration of hundreds of space vehicles (SV) and associated ground segment (GS) elements.  The Program Manager will coordinate the activities of contractor as well as subcontractor personnel. These tasks shall include but are not limited to: 

  • Managing the contract to ensure all tasks are accomplished and deliverables delivered in a timely and complete manner.  Develops/delivers/maintains the Program Management Plan (PMP). The PMP addresses all aspects of managing the project’s schedule, cost, performance, and staffing for the duration of the contract. 
  • Leads the program customer kick off meeting provides quality review of all CDRLs 
  • Ensuring prime and subcontractor personnel are available, efficiently organized, and are qualified to meet the contract requirements. 
  • Developing and executing a methodology for assessing priorities and resources when resolving conflicting project requirements. 
  • Furnishing the necessary qualified personnel, resources, materials, and facility to perform the identified tasks in this SOW.   Makes the technical and programmatic expertise available to immediately support Tranche 3 at contract award.  
  • Performing program control activities ensuring that appropriate program progress reports, financial performance reports, and other contractual performance information are provided, as stipulated in the contract, in a timely manner to assist in balancing cost, schedule, and risk. 
  • Manages project schedules and budgets and prepares status reports. 
  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives. 
  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and customers. 
  • Performs subcontractor/vendor management and coordination functions as needed. 
  • Achieve or exceed financial, delivery, and contractual performance targets for assigned projects/programs. 
  • Leads weekly/monthly internal program reviews to track performance against targets and metrics. 
  • Plans and implements management and communication processes to ensure effective execution of the contract. 
  • Conducts monthly customer program reviews to ensure compliance, satisfaction and seek new areas to add value. 

**This position is contingent on contract award.** 

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Master’s Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Math or related discipline OR Bachelor of Science in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Math or related discipline with an MBA. 
  • 15 years relevant PM experience with at least 10 years relevant space acquisitions. 
  • Experience with Missions Systems Engineering and Integration (MSE&I) contracts for DoD or IC customers 

 

PREFERRED: 

  • 20 years relevant PM experience and 15 years relevant space acquisitions. 
  • PMP or DoD Equivalent 
  • MSE&I PM Experience with the Space Development Agency (SDA).  

 

SECURITY CLEARANCE:  

  • Active TS/SCI, which requires a US citizen. 

Target Salary Range

$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
